SAMAKU – Table lamp

Samaku is a table lamp made of Ayous solid wood and glass. The structure in polymethylmethacrylate is enclosed by a 2 mm thick glass cylinder, on which rise the 7 circular elements in pyramidal growth. It is completed with fine details such as the copper-plated metal cable clamp and the garnet red power cord, pleasant to the touch.

Samaku was born after an introspective journey on Japanese soil, where designers, fascinated by the architecture of Japanese castles, find the material impulse at the end of the final form. The predominant feature is the overturning of the diffuser compared to common table lighting concepts. The supporting column thus becomes the main light source, while the lampshade becomes the main decorative element. Perfect for placement on bar counters, shops, shop windows, homes and halls.
